Marriage is the Sacrament that reflects Christ's love for his Bride, the Church. Its mission, then, is to make Jesus present to each spouse, to their children, and anyone whom they touch as a couple and as a family. This sacred covenant is free, total, faithful, and fruitful - it is permanent and exclusive. As such, a marriage between baptized persons, validly entered and consummated, cannot be dissolved.
The Sacrament assures a couple the supernatural grace which makes possible a lifetime of commitment, holiness, responsibility, and happiness.
Please contact the Parish Center six months prior to the date of the marriage for preparation requirements.

Prayer for Marriage & Family (from the World Meeting of Families)
Lord God, by the creation of the first Eve and her spouse, you made marriage and family the foundation of all human community.
By the birth of your Son to the new Eve, Mary, our mother, and her most chaste spouse, Joseph, you radically altered human history. Through this Holy Family, you made a path for our salvation.
Strenghten the families of this world, and impart to them the gifts of the Holy Spirit. May He, aided by the example of the Holy Family, guide all families to be homes of communion and prayer and to always seek your truth and live in your love.
