What: 5th Annual St. John’s Bean Bag Tournament
When: Sunday, Sept. 29, @ 3:00 p.m (goes to approximately 6:00 p.m.)
Where: St. John’s School parking lot
Who: Two-person Teams:
Two adults (8th grade age and older)
One adult (8th grade age or older) & one child (7th grade or younger)

NOTE: We will have different throwing distances for different age children. A child must be able to throw a bean bag a minimum of 13 feet to participate.

Entry Fee: $20 per Team (Includes two t-shirts and two meals; see below) 
T-shirts: (View T-shirt Design). All team names will print on the back design. T-shirts will be available for pick-up from the Parish Center beginning Sunday, Oct. 13.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to bracket winners.
Tournament Format:
There will be two separate divisions, one division consisting of teams with two adults and the second division consisting of teams with one adult and one child. The tournament will begin with pool play-in games, then break into single-elimination brackets by division, based on the play-in game results. Teams are guaranteed four games.
We will use “Cancellation Scoring” where opposing team’s bean bags in-the-hole and on-the-board cancel each other out. Only non-cancelled bean bags are counted toward a team’s score. Bean bags that hit the ground prior to landing on the board will count. The first team to reach 21 or higher, at the end of a frame, wins the game.

Two meals are included with each team registration. The meal includes your choice of a burger, brat or hot dog, chips and a pop/water. Additional food and drinks will be available for sale. You may bring your own beverages, but alcoholic beverages are not allowed.  
Rain Cancellation:
In the event of rain or extremely wet conditions, the tournament will be cancelled. Check your email the day of the event for official cancellation notices.
