Confirmation

"Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth."

Through Confirmation Preparation, we accompany our young people, 9th and 10th graders, as they discover a deeper level of belonging to Jesus through meeting with their peers and adult group leaders in an inspiring experience of renewal. The human heart is made for companionship; Jesus trusted in the beauty and grace of walking together in the Spirit. This is our desire as we prepare our youth for the sacrament of confirmation. Their time together consists of large and small group connection, service, prayer, retreats, and developing friendships with others from all the schools in the city.

Students in 9th grade typically begin their journey toward Confirmation that will continue through spring of the student's 10th grade year when the Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated.  The two years of Confirmation preparation include: large and small group gatherings, service projects, opportunities for prayer, retreats, fellowship and more!

Confirmation Preparation Fees:

Year I - $60

Year II - $60

(Fees cover retreat experiences and materials for preparation. Tuition assistance is available. Please contact the Confirmation Director for more information.)
