Anointing of the Sick
In this Sacrament, a priest anoints the sick with blessed oil to give strength, hope and healing. A new illness, frailness or a worsening of health enables a person to receive this beautiful gift.
Twice a year, typically once in the fall and once in the spring, there is a special liturgy for all who wish to be anointed. This is an opportunity to pray with one another as a community for strength and hope.
Hospital & Nursing Home Visits
If you or someone you know is homebound, in the hospital, or in the nursing home, please call the church office and let us know. We appreciate knowing when someone is in need of special care.
Also, Mayo Clinic offers a chaplaincy service which provides daily communion and the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick by request.
