Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota will be hosting an evening of teaching and dialogue exploring the connection between the presence of Christ in the Eucharist and the presence of Christ in the poor. The presentation will take place at the Co-Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist at 6:00pm (following Stations of the Cross) in the St. John’s fellowship area.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about 1) What going to Mass on Sunday has to do with serving those who are most in need, 2) What makes Christian Charity different from government social services or secular philanthropy, and 3) What are some practical ways you can get involved in serving people in need here in Rochester.
